Well Done, Me! is a 12-week journalling programme for TY students that encourages students to take purposeful control of their personal and academic growth.
Aligned with the Transition Year Programme Statement’s emphasis on personal development, civic engagement, and self-directed learning, the journal guides students to:
- Reflect daily on their gratitude, diet, sleep, and exercise habits, fostering wellbeing and self-awareness
- Set and review meaningful goals, cultivating leadership, resilience, and autonomy
- Track their learning strategies, inspiring a lifelong love of education
Through structured prompts and reflective exercises, the Well Done, Me! Journalling Programme supports students in building a portfolio of their personal growth – a key objective of Transition Year. It provides a practical, enjoyable way for students to align with the developmental indicators outlined in the Student Dimensions, from Personal Growth to Civic Engagement.
